Smart home installation, set up properly
Video doorbells, smart switches and dimmers, sensors, scenes and app or voice control — installed by licensed electricians who then show you how to actually use it.

Smart devices are still electrical work
Behind the app, a smart home is switches, dimmers, sensors and wiring. Replacing switches and outlets, terminating cable and mounting devices to wall plates and junction boxes is licensed electrical work, and doing it badly is both a fire risk and a system that never works properly.
We install the hardware, configure the software, pair the devices and hand it over working — with the scenes and schedules already set up rather than left as homework.
- Hardware installed and software configured in the same visit
- Works with your existing wiring in most homes
- Scales later — start with one room and add to it
Smart home installation and setup
Video & Smart Doorbells
Wired and battery doorbell cameras installed, including running new bell wiring where there is none.
Smart Switches & Dimmers
Existing switches replaced with app-controlled smart switches and dimmers that still work by hand.
Sensors & Motion Control
Motion and temperature sensors, positioned where they actually work rather than where it is easy.
App & Voice Control
Set up with Google Home, Amazon Alexa or Apple Home, so lights and devices answer to your phone or your voice.
Scenes & Schedules
One tap to set a room, or automations that run on time, occupancy or sunset without you touching anything.
Blinds, Gates & Garage
Motorised blinds, gates and garage doors brought into the same system as the lights.
What to know before you buy a doorbell camera
Wired or battery?
A wired doorbell should be installed by a licensed electrician. Battery models many people can fit themselves — we will if you would rather not.
Existing bell wiring
If wiring is already there, a wired camera is easier and cheaper. If not, a battery unit is often the better answer.
Screen who is there
See and record who is at the door without opening it — the reason most people fit one.
A visible deterrent
A camera at the door discourages break-ins, and gives you footage if something does happen.
Installed, configured and explained
Plenty of smart gear gets installed and never used, because nobody set up the app or explained what it can do. We treat the configuration as part of the job, not an extra.
We work with the major Australian systems — including Clipsal Wiser and SAL PIXIE — so we can advise on what suits your house and your existing switches rather than selling you one answer.

Smart home questions
Do I need an electrician to install a video doorbell?
For a wired doorbell, yes — use a licensed electrician so it is installed correctly and your home stays safe. A wireless or battery doorbell you can usually fit yourself, but if you would rather not, we will do it.
Does a video doorbell need existing doorbell wiring?
Only if you want a wired one. Existing wiring makes a wired camera easier and more cost-effective. With no wiring in place, a battery-powered doorbell is usually the better solution.
Which video doorbell should I get?
It depends on your house. Ring, eufy and Nest are all popular. The things worth comparing are wired versus wireless, video quality, how recordings are stored, and battery life if it is not wired.
Can smart switches replace the switches I already have?
In most cases yes — smart switches and dimmers are designed to go in where your existing switches are, and they keep working manually as well as through the app.
Will it work with Google Home or Alexa?
Yes. The systems we install support voice control through Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa, and some also work with Apple Home. We set that up as part of the install.
